Billy Bones was a pirate born in Wales, who defected from the army when he was 22 years old. Along with a small group of ex-soldiers, Bones took control of a small merchant ship, which signaled the beginning of his life as a pirate. He then spent 5 months as a captain.   By the time Treasure Island begins, Flint (who was never even given a first name) is already dead, Billy Bones is a cranky old drunk, and Long John Silver is one of the most feared and ruthless pirates known the world over. The Bones Family lives in a dark closet, guarding the secrets and lies (little white ones and big whoppers) that belong to the hideous Biglums. But Little Billy Bones craves the excitement of the big wide world outside. Then Millicent, a new friendly Biglum, arrives at the mansion.
